You can learn a lot about an organization simply by observing its meetings. Meetings are essential structures for alignment, collaboration, and decision-making—and they are powerful drivers of a team’s culture. Yet most of us have experienced (and led!) meetings that are unproductive, boring, or unclear, sometimes even leading to the dreaded “meeting after the meeting.”

In this team session, we’ll explore how meetings can either strengthen or undermine culture, trust, and productivity. We will examine the most common traps leaders fall into when planning, facilitating, and participating in meetings—such as unclear objectives, misaligned expectations, or structures that unintentionally exclude key voices. By understanding these pitfalls, we can redesign our approach to meetings with intention and impact.

Description

Participants will experience and discuss high-impact strategies that make meetings more engaging, efficient, and inclusive. You will walk away with tangible tools to plan and facilitate meetings that drive clarity, increase collaboration, and support a healthy team culture. These practices will not only improve your meeting effectiveness but will also enhance how your team communicates, collaborates, and follows through on the work that matters most.
